One of the things I love about the Fast & Furious films, which is very meta, is how it's often assumed that whatever you can see happening in the film, the characters can all also see. Regardless of their location. They even sometimes have access to clips from the films.

Going through my bank statements for my taxes and every time I think I've uncovered a nice juicy expense it turns out it's a bottle of whisky. Writers really ought to be able to claim expenses on whisky.

On customer support chat for my website hosting and they checked if I was asking about a different issue, I said no, so they say okay, give us a sec, and five minutes later they came back to tell me they had checked and that different issue I was not asking about was not a problem.

I currently owe two libraries a total of about £14 in reservation fees which, if you know anything about how cheap library services are, is a veritable gluttony of books coming my way.
