One of my highlights of Star Wars Celebration was the “connections between Japan and Star Wars” discussion panel. They showed the Daicon opening animation featuring Star Wars characters, then followed by discussing the similarities between Star Wars and Evangelion. I audibly gasped.

My Master Code Breaker cosplay at Star Wars Celebration went better than I could have imagined! Was stopped by a ton of people wanting to compliment my outfit and take pictures. Was slightly worried beforehand that no one would recognize my character, but seemingly everyone knew who I was!

Ten days out from Star Wars Celebration, and my cosplay outfit is complete. I am going as “The Master Code Breaker”, who was briefly seen in The Last Jedi. I wanted to go in cosplay that was “suit adjacent”, and I already had most of the pieces in my closet. I spent less than $7 to put it together!

Game Center CX will be celebrating its 400th episode in June. To celebrate Arino will be doing a 400 minute live stream of him playing Punch Out. Arino barely managed to beat Soda Popinski, and unless he plays on a CRT, I gotta imagine beating Mr. Dream / Tyson on a LCD display is legit impossible

Regardless of being 64 years old, Hideaki Anno is currently working on 5 separate projects, and is also trying to get a sequel to Shin Kamen Rider going. While I want nothing more than Anno to find peace, if he wants to be like Miyazaki and continue working til his 80s, I’m not complaining.

This is really cool, and not only is referencing classic consoles, but the actual museum itself. The first thing you see when arriving on the second floor of the musuem is a similar cube comprised entirely of LED panels that cycles through the start up sound of every Nintendo console.

Read an interview with Deion Sanders, in which he said from 1992 to 1995, he never wore the same outfit twice. Uhhhh....I'm certainly no multi-millionaire athelete, but I think I could easily go the rest of my life without ever wearing the exact same suit/tie/shirt/cufflinks combo.
