all these dramatic homos with tradecraft skills a few years after being purged from U.S. intelligence

the best thing about getting older is being injured by sleep

He's been on this kick ever since he found out 24 wasn't the highest number.

The U.S. press should feel very ashamed.

Once again: "being gay for pussy" is a higher form of masculinity

Wow those nonconfrontational savvy behind-the-scenes negotiations to address the White House blackballing the AP really paid off huh

just boycott these motherfuckers, you’re not doing anything useful showing up there every day

Something to understand about the nazi salute nonsense is that back during Reconstruction there was a cottage industry of Klan denial, where Democratic papers would pretend the KKK didn't exist or point to their stupid rituals as evidence they were a Republican delusion or otherwise harmless

we’re watching elon musk trying to run the government like a business by being that shitty boss everyones had at one point in their life and i hope this is an evergreen example of why “running the government like a business” might be the dumbest ideological statement out there

The point of the Guantanamo camp was never that some immigrants were too dangerous to remain stateside. It was to *give the impression* that such dangerous immigrants existed and had been detained — which is exactly how Guantanamo was used after 2001.

As you can see, the women initially respond by distancing themselves, but by the 2030s, their pack bond and hunting instinct is strong, enabling them to swiftly overtake the men and eat them

WASHINGTON (AP) — 21 civil service employees are resigning from Elon Musk’s DOGE, refusing to “dismantle critical public services.”

This needs more work, my dude

Folks tend to think of romantic partnership as a source of comfort, and it is, but couples therapist David Schnarch said it is primarily a "people-sharpening" tool now. When you commit to being with someone, you necessarily push each other to grow—which is *not* comfortable.

Good 🧵. So, when McLuhan talks about how electric technology forces us to "live mythically" and take on roles instead of jobs, one thing he means is that you need an instantly recognizable image to stand out against the nonstop information we're bombarded with each day.

it is the moral duty of every person to protect as many as we possibly can from this fucking monster. anything less than the most we can do is unacceptable. whatever power you have, use it

"The government should run like a business" bitch I'm in a union, I don't even think businesses should run like a business

Just missed the window to do a third U2 one in conjunction with the How to Dismantle re-release, dammit.
