So I made my (very reluctant) Mom test prior to picking up my kid for dinner at her place & she tested positive. Is there nothing to be done for asymptomatic Covid cases? It appears antivirals aren’t recommended? Not sure she’d do CPC mouthwash or nose spray w/out proof. #Covid #MaskUp

Our dog Dobby had to go to the vet today for a broken tooth & my husband told me that while there one of the vets gave him a little baby sock. Now I have to call them tomorrow & tell them Dobby had suddenly disappeared & it’s all their fault.

Today was the first day teachers were back at my kid’s school, tomorrow all the kids descend so I went & did a little decorating to help welcome everyone back. Jan/Feb are rather dark & dreary here, we could all use another reason to smile! Happy New Year!

If you need any further proof that Twitter is a bigoted hellscape, try doing a test post using the phrase “CIS gender” & see if you get the same warning. Then try whatever ACTUAL slurs you can think of. I tried the T, R & even N words & none of them got flagged.

This is a really unique cover of Creep. I love the combination of their voices. A weird aside- I have a copy of that painting behind them. Same/similar frame too! Hung in my grandparent’s house for decades.

Yeah, I was kinda obsessed with this when it came out, thus my Halloween costume from 2021. I had a top hat that projected the lights in the wall behind me. Character reminded me if a creepy carnival barker. Had a bathrobe cut like a tailed top coat too.
