Almost every day for the past two weeks, the same pair of crows have been coming to the wire outside the front window and calling to me. Each time I toss them ten or twelve peanuts in the shell. I'm going to mount a box off the front soon to see if they will bring anything small and shiny to me.

Quick Twin Peaks and Golden Gate Park lap ride today before the big rain storm hits later. Got out with a couple of friends who are more fit than I am and they drug me around for 90 minutes. Great fun.

Texas Sheet Cake: followed the recipe, I feel like the oven was not hot enough b/c cake was underdone, even after extra time. Icing needs more blending. Will try again tomorrow for better results. My dearly departed mom used to make this when I was kid and I was missing her today, so I did this.
