Just found out that it used to be an American tradition to have annual "Moving Days" and hundreds of people would change dwellings all at the same time. Wild! How did I never hear of this?!

So crazy to me that like the entirety of western Washington state just shuts down when they get 1" of fresh powder (snow).

a guy and his 3 cats walk into a bar

HouseFlipper 2 is such a great "I don't know what I want to play" game

Relating to polyamory but not being able to practice it feels like you're just role-playing a poly person.

Listened to 2 coworkers casually discuss which $400 piece of network equipment they prefer in their home network and I don't understand how our lives are so different when our salaries are so close

Had one of my spouse's extra ADHD meds the other day and ended up reorganizing a pile of files I had been ignoring for the last 6 months. I didn't even plan to, it just happened

I was intrigued by some of fragrances offered by Zara and ordered a couple but man, I'm really disappointed by how misleading the fragrance notes are.

It'd be nice if my post ideas came more steadily instead of as a dozen random ideas over the course of 5 mins

A relative gave me a bunch of their houseplants to take care of, because they didn't have the space after a move. Now I have like 12 new plants and also don't have room for them.

I suppose most of my interests are mostly linked by art, but sometimes they seem all over the place. - Anime - Graphic art - Art (in general) - Gaming (mostly non-competitive) - Fragrance/Perfume - Cybersecurity - Neuroscience/psychology - Sim-racing - Singing - Renovation

Got to be honest, not sure why the vast majority of people following me are following me.

Got that gaming problem where I don't want to start anything new but I'm also not sure which of the 4 games I'm in the middle of that I should continue....

I find I tend towards darker fragrances but it's hard to find a nice balance. Dark fragrances seem to be either "kinda sorta just a little dark" or "light has forsaken this place".

I finally made my way through reviewing all 15 samples from Clandestine Labs, but now I have 11 new samples from Motif Olfactif to try now! Someone should really bar me from buying any more fragrance samples...

Serge Lutens Ecrin Fumee perfume is baffling. One of the few fragrances where the difference between smelling close to the skin and smelling from a distance changes the perceived notes dramatically. And on a piece of paper (to test) it just smelled like powdered chocolate. Baffling.

I'm trying to play my way through the Trails series, but it feels like new games are being added to the series faster than I can complete them. T_T

Some perfumes come with really gaudy bottles, but as long as the fragrance isn't that expensive, I actually think it's kind of fun. It doesn't look good, but the overly ostentatious presentation is amusing. (Example attached) What do you think?

I thought I was making progress on curating my feed, but an awful lot of current events seems to be seeping through today

I pulled the trigger on trying Lost In Time by Clandestine Laboratories. After having sampled 15 of Mark's fragrances I'm confident that I'll find something to like. The scent is experimental, and is supposed to smell like a tobacco curing shed in various stages of curing. Color me intrigued

😻Akiko_oc's catgirl is SO CUTE!!!😤
