As fun as a collab dollmaker would be, making sure assets line up right and match quality/line weight/colour is too tough. I'm talking "cust. gives me OC refs and clothing requests, and I make them a 'paper-doll' picrew!" Would also love to find more abdl/kinky dressup game enthusiasts πŸ‘€

Nah it's a recursive frill nightmare. The world's best mathematicians are scratching their heads. Every layer you lift reveals... another layer... Haha how would Sunny and Rosie react to petticoats?

yo dawg I heard u like frills so I put frills on ur frills so you can frill while u frill I am crumbling into dust

55 was wrong and I think it's closer to 70 haha. I should be done with those tonight?? I hope? Idk I have other stuff to do too. The plan is for me to "process" your surveys and drop them in a shared folder so you can grab your results. There are almost 100 of you, so thank you for your patience 😊

I don't feel as icky about AI assets if I know they'll be replaced with human-made content as soon as possible. I still think about how resource intensive AI tools are to run, and how the generated images are taking little bits of a lot of artist's work without their knowledge. Ethically, I hate it.

I honestly and vehemently believe generative AI is not ready for the public to use. I don't know if it will be. Your point about placeholder pieces is reasonable, if no human-made royalty free audio and stock illustrations exist to set the right tone in your game. For marketing graphics though? Nah.

Okay so I work with very normal adults (not a read, just outing myself as the office eccentric) and the general concensus is that generative AI is a fun, cool tool that can make everyone an artist. It's nuts how celebrated it is by non-artists. They just don't get how off-putting and ugly it is??

Take care of your community and they will take care of you. Connect with artists if you're one of us. Demonstrate your value and make trades for custom assets--your time is money. I beg you to re-read my reply. I am asking you to use more care in choosing your assets. Custom is the safest choice.

Oh my god they're hitting you with threads about not using AI when all the assets are... Clearly AI LMAO I'm glad you're speaking up so we know who to avoid πŸ‘Œ

You're a graphic designer. You're making collages of AI generated stock imagery to market your product. That's like hot gluing two pieces of dropshipped junk together and calling it handmade. Misleading and insulting to artists. Just hire an ABDL illustrator for your assets. We're plentiful.

Used a basting glue to puzzle piece the applique together and then planned the placement before stitching it all on by hand.

Started with felt and three printouts of a sketch I did. Planned my cuts on the three printouts and made a pattern.
