Funny story w/ this movie. My mom would hide the VHS cuz I kept watching it even tho it would scare me to the point I hid behind the couch. Once she hid it on a high shelf in a closet. 20-ish mins later she finds me watching it. I had stacked Lego buckets on a chair to reach the shelf. I was 3.

A big problem that's plagued a lot of people that publish anime content is that consistently and productively monetizing writing about older anime is hard. So stuff that could otherwise be an effective deep dive is tailored to the idea that everyone is hearing about everything for the first time.
