I've been grinding Metal Slug 3 for a few days now on the Vita. Gorgeous game, but it's brutal. The final mission is simply too much, definitely sours the experience, this should have been more focused. Bombastic, but on repeat playthroughs you realize that the spectacle wasn't worth it.

As for reading, Gene Wolfe's The Fifth Head of Cerberus - a twist on Le Guin's early works, in the first story I notice hints of Proust, the second is more awkward. Not an easy read, hope it will be worth it.

I am absolutely delighted to announce that I have finished a sci-fi story. I hope I didn't butcher it, because editing was a bloodbath. It's ~50 characters under the upper limit for a publication. It's still long, almost 6000 words, a real rollercoaster... but I just can't come up with a title.
