Arthur Rackham liked his frontispiece for Undine so much (left, 1909) that six years later he decided to do a rare oil painted version of it (right). It is currently at the Yale University Art Gallery. @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com has Jill Thompson recreate this image in Sandman!

One of the great pictures I had the enormous fortune to discover as a young teen (it had a huge impact on me!) is this uncropped reproduction of one of the Rackham illustrations for A Midsummer Night's Dream in Brigid Peppin's book Fantasy.
