Bought The Complete Haydn Symphonies in order to discover which was the first symphony I ever played It was No 97! But recently hearing no 49 (Passione) on Radio3 has prompted me to work my way through this box of previously undiscovered joy.

Here's a tale of two Jubilees - Jubilee Pool Penzance and Jubilee Park Woodhall Spa - which opened for the season on 5th April. Both born in 1935, and now run by independent charities, they're invaluable to the wellbeing of their communities and to their local economies. Have a great season, both!
