I don't give my consent for this and I'd bet the majority of the UK public don't. But even if there was a vote in Parliament our lack of consent won't matter. They'll vote for it with a big majority. I've no idea who the bulk of MPs represent, it's certainly not us.

In 2023, Scotland generated 48.7 TWh of electricity from all sources. Of this wind contributed 25.8 TWh and hydro 4.6 TWh. Scotland is a net exporter of electricity, with 15.9 TWh exported in 2023, or 33.8% of its generation. Zonal pricing would mean lower prices for Scots!
