I heard a rumor that my office will be communicating with us about the RIF soon, and I'll summarize what they say here

Look what he said now about federal employees www.rawstory.com/trump-civil-...

Schedule F has been all over the news this weekend, glad people are starting to realize how insidious and evil it is!

New EO on Schedule F www.whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/...

The irony of this account is that I am almost certain that I'll be laid off before I get a chance to be rescheduled F

Read it and weep www.axios.com/2025/04/18/s...

There are rumors that my agency is going to lay off people starting this week

JUST IN: Supreme Court has stayed a federal judge's order requiring the rehiring of probationary employees at six federal agencies. The nonprofit plaintiffs lack standing, the justices ruled. But... s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25...

The Supreme Court just paused an order by a lower-court judge requiring the Trump admin to rehire about 16,000 fired probationary employees.

This is funny. And the serious problem with the NYT is it misinforms about reality. Not with inaccuracy so much as emphasis, perspective, and framing. That makes it a bad news source. Go to the Guardian, or Wired, or others/ independent sources. You don't need the NYT or LA Times, or WaPo.

Day by day, more feds are opting out of the workforce ahead of the mass layoffs that are coming in May

Keep up the pressure!

Whoa, that axe fell hard!

Feds are actually leaving in substantial numbers now, mostly through regular and early retirement, next comes the involuntary part...

@altnps.bsky.social why aren't you talking about Schedule F and the final wave of the purge? Seems relevant to federal employees, many of who likely follow you.

I was always going to be Schedule F, we don't know what that means other than they could fire us more easily. I expect to be fired this summer without cause.

They are firing people for leaving their IDs with their computers while on a break

@fetterman.senate.gov resign, you are no longer useful to Pennsylvania or the Senate

This is the message federal employees receive after trying to send in their mandatory “5 bullets” email about what they did this week:

Facts: Elon Musk is not in the cabinet. Elon Musk is not a department head. Elon Musk was not confirmed by the Senate. “DOGE” is not a real department. “DOGE” was never created by Congress. “DOGE” is acting outside all legal authority. “DOGE” is fake — and 100% CORRUPT.

@smith.senate.gov what about Schumer and the need to push him out now?

@sanders.senate.gov what about Schumer and the need to push him out now?

@schiff.senate.gov what about Schumer and the need to push him out now?

@fetterman.senate.gov what about Schumer and the need to push him out now?

@markey.senate.gov what about Schumer and the need to push him out now?

@whitehouse.senate.gov what about Schumer and the need to push him out now?

@schumer.senate.gov resign

Trump and DOGE have fired 25,000 federal workers so far. Now Trump and DOGE have to hire them back thanks to court orders. Most workers have been placed on administrative leave — technically rehired and paid, but still unable to do vital work in our communities. "Efficiency."

Not sure what the next week will bring for federal workers, but a lot of us are deciding whether or not to retire early
