Happy Birthday, George. My piece “Rishikesh George” was made back in 2012 for the @gallerynucleus.bsky.social Beatles show “All Together Now”

Here’s the first in a series of new pieces I’m working on. A kind of “felt grisaille” (measures around 60cm tall and is completely sewn in grey felt). I really enjoyed making this piece which is a nice feeling after having a bit of a creative slump for the last few months. More to follow.

A big thanks to everyone who came along to the event tonight, we had a lovely time. The exhibition is on until March 25th so still plenty of time to visit. 🥰

8 years since I made my piece “The Protector” for the Spoke Art Miyazaki exhibition. I loved making this piece. As usual (I find it so hard to work on small a scale) he stands around metre and a half tall.
