I have had several US colleagues contact me to find out how the job market works over here... the exodus from the US is about to begin. This kind of self-harm can take a generation to heal. Hey, at least #Brexit is no longer the most stupid act of national self-sabotage in the last 10 years!

When I heard Musk say this on Tuesday, my assumption was that it was a programming issue. Because I can code and have written to databases and because I am familiar with other examples of default values being misinterpreted. Yet somehow Musk isn't.

ust reviewed the coverage of Carl Nichols' decision enjoining Trump's shutdown of USAID. Only Politico (and my own post) note that Nichols specifically said that DOJ presented no evidence of fraud or corruption. EVERY OUTLET should emphasize this. www.politico.com/news/2025/02...

My 9 week premature little girl died 44 years ago today. Two years later, medical research developed a way to make underdeveloped lungs more flexible. Now fewer parents have to experience the pain of losing their baby. Why would we not want to support funding for these innocent babies?

Has congress passed a law superseding or eliminating the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961? Has the Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional? Then why are journalists reporting that Trump and Musk are "shutting down" USAID. They are not authorized to do so.
