I just learned what my new Social Security monthly amount will be thanks to the Social Security Fairness Act that President Joseph R. Biden signed into law on his way out the door. Thanks again, Joe. It's 3.5 times greater. I actually get a portion of my husband's SS like most American widows.

One of my favorite Zentangle teachers is Kelli Blouin. I'm working on her project pack, "Birds of a Feather." Find her on Youtube. These are not pure Zentangles. Rather, they are Zentangle Inspired Art. So calming and grounding!

I've been drawing Zentangles for 3 years. It's calming and grounding for me. I turn to it now with the current chaos that surrounds us. This is called "Mysealium,"misspelling intentional. Representational, not exact. I can kind of see mycelium in the tile where I drew a bunch together.

Keep your hands off my Social Security and Medicare! I'm one of millions of retired teachers who had a career before teaching and paid into Social Security. For years our Social Security was reduced by some strange formula because we received money from our state pension system.

Thanks to Representative Al Green for standing up and making Good Trouble last night. What a contrast to the lame and weak hold up the paddles and stay silent strategy. Thanks also to Representatives and Senators who either didn't show up or walked out part way through.
