THIS. In the beginning I suspected that COVID was a vascular disease & not a lung disease b/c of the other problems we were seeing. I would draw an ABG & the blood would clot b4 I could run a sample & yet, the pt would bleed profusely from any injection site. We assumed it was DIC. Excellent read.

Maybe I should introduce myself. I’m Jillian. Estd. 1980. I’m a respiratory therapist. Grad 2016. Working on my BSRT. ACCS certified. Worked the whole pandemic in the ICU. I have PTSD as a result. I also have ADHD, which only got diagnosed 2 years ago. It explains a lot. Have a BFA theatre/psych.
