Went to one of those old timey candy shops with salt water taffy in barrels and picked up some of those strawberry hard candies that every Japanese restaurant has on the counter. It feels criminal that I can just eat these without having bought food at a restaurant.

The kids are alright. There were a bunch of teenagers at the 20th anniversary screening of Pride and Prejudice and when Mr. Darcy walks thru the mist they silently cheered and threw their hands up and a girl behind me whispered: omg its happening!!! It was ADORABLE.

I went to the Tate Modern yesterday. In the Rothko room with all the Serious Art Connoisseurs there was a ~5 year old kid who walked up to each painting, pointed at it and shouted 'RECTANGLE' at each one in turn, then left the room.
