Our eldest asked me yesterday to take them to see The Day the Earth Blew Up tonight. I said sure, found a showtime, and put it in the calendar. This afternoon I went to buy tickets, and that showtime was gone. Nowhere on our side of town had any evening shows.

A couple years ago I moderated a panel on body modification in sci-fi vs reality. The panelists were all authors who had written on the subject or doctors/scientists who had worked in that field. I was the only one up there with any visible modifications to my body.
