Beyond parody at this point; the week these guys picked sex predators and warmongers over your future

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people: 1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money 3) We won’t need a lot of troops 4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq 5) We’ll find WMDs 6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators 7) It will be easy 8) It won’t take long All lies.

the political lesson everyone should take from Iraq is that you will regret being in favor of this sooner or later and the earlier you were against it the better off you’ll be ignore the media frenzy and stake your position now, it’s the right thing to do and it’s the ambitious thing to do too

Chuck Schumer about to write the President a sternly-worded thank you note

they like the war and the want to help trump, who they also like, expand it.

Netanyahu has spent the better part of two decades trying to strong arm the United States into an unprovoked war against Iran and finally found a president stupid enough to do it for him. Unbelievable.

at least he didn't do something truly reckless like try to forgive student loans

just saw a group of masked men stuffing masked ICE agents into an unmarked car, who were saying "we're ICE we're ICE!" but the abductors shouted to the crowd "no we're ICE!" no one knew who was ICE, so no one in the crowd said anything.

I am glad that I wrote this article. McBride did real damage with her interview, as should be clear by people who are allies and even some trans people arguing for sports bans. I can promise you that capitulating won’t slow down the extreme stripping of rights. If anything it’ll speed it up.

Say it loud if this happens around you: 🗣️📢 No badge, No I.D.: You have no authority

a nation on edge holds its breath as the former host of celebrity apprentice huddles with his advisors, the wrestlemania ceo and the former co-host of fox & friends weekends

Interesting that I’m not seeing any reports of the “He’s An Asshole But The City Needs An Asshole To Stand Up To Trump” mayoral candidate doing any standing up to Trump re: the unjustified arrest of the sitting Comptroller

Having a bit of a hard time with the concept that if a guy in a police uniform who has a police vehicle shows up I should lock the doors and call 911, but if a guy in a ski mask with an hGH gut appears to be kidnapping my neighbor, I shouldn’t ask who he is if I don’t want federal charges.

why would anyone anywhere in the world trust anything one american government promises when this can happen to them a few years later

This is much better than Speaker Jeffries references to a vague violence, but it could be even more specific. Name actual individuals who need to be held to account. It will make the general charges stick and spark an actual news cycle as reporters ask them for comments and replies. Call them out.

People will tell you that they view property destruction as equivalent to violence against a person, but that's not true. They think property destruction is worse

The Tea Party protests in April 2009 had about a third of a million people involved, and the political media treated it like a game changer for the Obama presidency. The No Kings rallies were AT LEAST ten times bigger than the Tea Party protests. Will the press keep pretending Trump is popular?

I don't think we will be able to successfully work the refs - the refs have been bought off already - but calling attention to this is valuable in convincing people on our side to look around and reevaluate who in the corporate media they can trust

Wake up babe, new boycott list just dropped

@msnbc.com reporter at the 1:15 mark. “The chaos you’re seeing is not the result of peaceful protestors, it’s the result of actions of law enforcement, specifically the Los Angeles sheriff’s department.” #nokings

More Americans voted for Senator Alex Padilla than for 48 of the 53 red state GOP U.S. Senators combined.

It's a truly jarring split screen that Kristi Noem's goons attacking Sen Padilla happened at almost the exact same time as 16 Dem senators crossed lines to vote with the GOP to invoke cloture on the crypto bill, forfeiting any leverage. Dems need to act like an opposition.

it’s secondary to everything else but i have some follow up questions about “there’s no recording here per fbi rights”

This is insane and also I hope that seeing a US fucking senator thrown to the ground and cuffed for asking a question will help some of the people who still aren’t getting it to recognize that THE POLICE ARE THE SOURCE OF THE VIOLENCE

Every blue state should be calling emergency sessions to set up systems of actual authority and mutual aid in an effort to protect their citizens and themselves from the coming war between the federal government and democratically held states.

We drill into military officers that Members of Congress have Constitutional oversight rights, Members outrank four-stars in protocol, and even Congressional staffers are treated like generals/admirals. To see sworn federal officers manhandle and handcuff a U.S. Senator... I'm still shook up.

House Democrats need to bring articles of impeachment against Kristi Noem, while Senate Democrats need to bring that chamber to a fucking halt.

DHS is also lying about him being repeatedly told to back away. The video shows the men who pushed him don’t even open their mouths, they just grab him and get them out of the room without saying a word.

“accustomed to remaining free”

One thing that I haven't seen said in the last 24 hours is that the Democratic Party had an opportunity, as an institution, to help shape, foster, and direct the grassroots popular uprising against Trump II. They made a conscious decision not to.
