Why am I inundated with posts contained Chinese/Korean style cartoons? All from different accounts. I gave selected 'see fewer like this' and block each one but to no avail. I hope @bsky.app is not becoming like Twitter.

China, the champion of free trade. USA, the champion of extreme protectionism. I know it is not that simple but I never thought I would see the day. The world is changing with an unhinged, arrogant, narcissistic, demogogue, and wannabe dictactator as American President.

I ❤️ Canada's approach to the American tariffs. They don't bow to Trump, they confront him head on, call out his policies, and have positive solutions to the obvious challenges. Well done Canada 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦. I love your country. When will a European leader stand up to Trump and not be bullied by him?

Why is socialist former UK Member of Parliament, and prospective USA Ambassador to the USA, Peter Mandleson, now complementing and cosying up to Trump? Some would say diplomacy, but in reality he is an opportunist - anything that benefits Mandleson. Where has politicians' integrity gone?

I fear that what Trump will do in his first 100 days will wholly alienate the responsible world, and change America for good. It may never recover. True democracy may ne gone. love visiting USA, but with more than 50% voting for Trump I cannot view it in the same way as I have. 1/2

Nice to keep up the 100% record in the Oxfordshire Short Mat Bowls Afternoon League Division Two in our first season in this league. We have to start in the lower division, but probably too good for it as tge shots show. Still nine games to go but we can start to plan for Division One next season.

Less than 30 minutes from home, our first ever visit to the National Trust Chastleton House for a morning out. With Beverley Morley , Nick James and Sophie Morley . Built in 1607, it is currently decked out in 1960s style christmas.

My favourite waterfall still. Hencken Falls, Wells Gray Provincial Park, British Colombia when we visited 20 years ago. I loved the park. Not commercialised then - hope it is the same now.
