I have heard the people’s voice and have begun negotiations with the present King of France to be the Antiwykeham Professor of Logic. Durham is basically the Avignon of England anyway.

People say that the northern lights are caused by the interaction of charged plasma from the sun with the earth's magnetosphere. But I, a philosopher, can imagine a complete physical duplicate of the sun that doesn't give rise to this so it looks like we'll need a different theory.
