My .NET Aspire book is now available in the Manning store! For the time being, the first six chapters have been published on the Manning platform after a makeover. It's already discounted, but if you use the MLsazanavets3 promo code, you will get a further 50% off.

If you are a C# developer and want to get into machine learning and AI, you don't have to learn Python. The .NET ecosystem has its own very powerful set of tools that happens to be severely underrated. I am currently in the process of writing a book on it, which is available in early access.

I regularly write articles where I share my insights on working in IT. In today's article, I talk about the most reliable way of getting a software engineer job in Big Tech. It contains some concrete actionable steps. fiodar.substack.com/p/the-easies...

Is any of you using static server-side rendering mode in #Blazor? If so, I'm curious to know the benefits of it. To me, it doesn't seem to have any. Buttons don't work (unless it's something very simple), certain lifecycle events don't work, JavaScript interop doesn't work. #dotnet

Happy New Year everyone! In my first newsletter of the year, I am giving you some actionable tips on how to boost your career in IT. #softwaredevelopment #softwareengineering fiodar.substack.com/p/five-ways-...

OK folks, I've good news regarding the progress of my Aspire book on LeanPub. It's now 13 out of 15 chapters done. Almost there! And while it's still in early access, it's still half the price, so grab your copy while it costs peanuts!

At the beginning of 2024, I made some predictions about the software engineering industry. In today's newsletter, I assess how many of these predictions came true. fiodar.substack.com/p/was-2024-a...

I have finally added a new chapter to my .NET Aspire Made Easy book, which is available for early access on Leanpub. This chapter explains how to scale Aspire apps and deploy them to production. Grab your copy now while it's still cheap. #dotnet

Becoming a senior software engineer is a very major milestone in someone's technical career. In today's issue of my newsletter, I tell you the quickest path to it. open.substack.com/pub/fiodar/p...

For any of you who thought that SignalR is only good for real-time chat applications, you'll be surprised how many cool things you can do with it 🙂 In today's article, I tell you how I and my team used SignalR to build a self-coordinating IoT system. fiodar.substack.com/p/architecti...

I'm happy to announce that my app SQL Data Purger, is now available in the Microsoft store and it's free for the first 30 days! Currently, it only works with SQL Server and only runs on Windows, but Linux version and support for other SQL databases are coming soon.

I am currently actively working on the next chapter of my book, ".NET Aspire Made Easy". It will be talking about the ways of deploying and scaling Aspire apps. The book is available for early access on Leanpub and it's 70% complete. It's also heavily discounted while it's in early access.

If you write software in .NET and build distributed applications, then you should definitely try .NET Aspire. This framework makes it so easy to develop and debug distributed apps. Nothing else comes even close. We used it in our project at Microsoft. Things have become so much easier with it.

In my newsletter today, I talk about something interesting in .NET space that I don't see many developers talking about. I provide an example of how you can use SignalR to coordinate clusters of IoT devices. #dotnet #signalr open.substack.com/pub/fiodar/p...
