It is my firm belief that we should abolish LinkedIn, there is simply No Need for it

@rollingstone.com has an exclusive look at #Splitgate's new 'Splitball' mode — which is pretty much capture the flag on acid. Shoutout to @echoapsey.bsky.social for a great look at the first-person shooter that's shaking up the tried-and-true formula. www.rollingstone.com/culture/rs-g...

Much as I enjoyed MH Wilds, I'm keen to go back to a crunchier, more challenging MonHun. So what should it be, folks - Iceborne or Sunbreak? Never played either

reminder to journalists reaching out to affected devs: please start off with a message of condolence and offer a space for them to speak about how they feel before you dive straight in with questions. The empathy goes a long way. getting the scoop shouldn’t come before treating people as *people*

In the light of next layoffs in the industry please share the openings of @CDPROJEKTRED with your chooms -- we are recruiting for few teams: #TheWitcherIV, sequel to #Cyberpunk2077 (codename Orion), our new IP (codename Hadar), and more! Join us ❤️ www.cdprojektred.com/en/jobs

Playing that Majima game everyone's talking about

Sure the Trails in the Sky remake is out this year, but you can't beat the original (especially at that price)

Got a second Monster Hunter piece today, and my biggest surprise with the game, the story. It's not just "good for Monster Hunter," it's a genuinely great narrative experience. Kind of like a party-based RPG where you're just one of the party members www.inverse.com/gaming/monst...

Monster Hunter Wilds is a hybrid of World and Rise more than it is a daring sequel, but it's still a damn good Monster Hunter. Check out my review on @rollingstone.com ! www.rollingstone.com/culture/rs-g...

MH Wilds has some brilliant fits but it really doesn't get better than this one

I reviewed this! I did get into the endgame and faced Tempered Monsters/made Artian weapons, to provide a sense of context without spoilers.

This was my thought, too. I get people won't like some of the routine being removed, but I also get why Capcom wants to make sure people with limited time don't feel like that time is being wasted on stuff that isn't necessary (it's me, I'm people)

This isn't a full review, yet, but after 12 years of trying nearly every Monster Hunter game - I finally found one I could get into. Wilds has made something click, I finally get the formula I think. This is the Monster Hunter for anyone who still couldn't get it. www.inverse.com/gaming/monst...

@fionnthebrave.bsky.social reviews #MonsterHunterWilds for @rollingstone.com. The verdict? Wilds is as fun as Monster Hunter has ever been but the complexities of a Planet Earth-like dynamic world still remain out of reach. Read more: www.rollingstone.com/culture/rs-g...

Monster Hunter Wilds has impressive quality of life improvements and the best hunting in series history. But it lacks endgame surprises and pinnacle fights, leaving the experience feeling a little empty towards the end. My full review for @gamerguides.com: www.gamerguides.com/monster-hunt...

Monster Hunter eats well, even if you need to wait 20 hours for the real meat. But that's always been the case for MonHun, and I probably have more patience for that than a lot of people will. Still, the combat is the best it's ever been. And that's what matters.

Monster Hunter Wilds should win every award conceivable for letting you craft a giant fluffy pink hippo-monkey head for your Palico

TAKE THAT

I'm replaying the first Trails through Daybreak and it's wild how so much of the plot is evil twink seduces scientist and steals nuclear weapons Someone told Melchior "be gay, do crimes" and he took it really seriously

"A fourth-wall break moment early on, however, quickly changed my mind." Mikhail Madnani (@va11halla.bsky.social) is pulled into Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo by one specific sequence. intothespine.com/2025/02/22/t...

#ApexLegends is kinda of a wild esport. For @rollingstone.com I went to the global series in Sapporo, Japan to understand why. www.rollingstone.com/culture/rs-g...

get paid for your work. back up your clips often. within reason, say "fuck it" and apply it to whatever it is you're doing. time will pass and you *will* regret wasting evenings and weekends. sometimes it can't be helped. but try to stop to smell the roses. you and your writing will be better for it

The world if Square Enix announced its Queen's Blood spin-off as a Switch 2 launch game

startmenu's favourite trails-sicko is BACK!

Good. One of my earliest thoughts about Avowed was that it definitely needs a sequel of some kind to make the most of what's here

I'm so good at Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Look at this man, so happy (miserable), healthy (near death), and in his lane (walking off a cliff while half asleep)

Mario Kart 8 is the Switch's GTA 5, I swear
