Just some images of the V70 bleeding gearbox oil everywhere.

The V70 moves under its own power again at last! Only things left to do are set the gearbox oil level properly, bleed the cooling system, and refit the under tray.

The V70 has finally been reintroduced to its gearbox! Next step is to connect everything back up and see if it works.

Does your car not have a reservoir of flood water in the air box? (that's post filter btw, I had to leave it out for a chance to dry out)

One Volvo V70 gearbox almost ready to go back in the car after a freshen up with some new seals, oil pump filter, and a valve body

After many many many hours of removing bits and fighting, the V70 has released its gearbox. Next step is to refresh the original box with new seals, filters, and valve body before reversing the entire process again.

Some more bits of the V70 have come off. Getting closer to the gearbox

New tool arrived so it only seemed right to make a start on V70 gearbox swap number two. Original box had a clogged internal filter so will be getting a freshen up and a new valve body before going back in.

If the weather could fuck off for a while that would be ace. I need to sort this utter shitshow out.

An early Christmas present to myself. After having to give up the freedom of my flat it's nice to have something that gives me a little sense of freedom to play where I want. Next step is to extend the network down to the garage so I can play from there!

The bleed nipples on the rear brakes of the Volvo 940 had seen better days. Utterly rusted in place to I had to go and visit somebody with an oxy torch to cook the buggers out. New ones should be with me tomorrow to finish the caliper refurb

Some car content to make sure people don't accidently follow me expecting something interesting. I went to do the rear pads on Mum's Volvo 940 only to find this utter mess. Inner pad was stuck from corrosion, outer was gone, then I stabbed myself with a screwdriver pulling it all apart.

I thought I'd signed up for this before but apparently I didn't. I was on Threads for a while but the constant whoring for clicks and attention and the increasing amount of fake bullshit and dodgy politics has pushed me away from that. So here I am again, hello! Car bollocks will follow eventually
