This guy would’ve found a way to rationalize the layoffs as being necessary and good if he hadn’t been personally let go. This kind of person is incapable of having any empathy or understanding until it affects them.

Among the things we need to do about billionaires is break the notion that they’re rarely ever anything beyond a bit clever & lucky, at best. They aren’t particularly smart & we shouldn’t treat their advice as anything special whatsoever. Whatever your feelings about meritocracy, we ain’t in one.

if there are any newspaper editors reading this, think of it like, the Saturday Night Massacre was considered the "Harvard administrator cited sources improperly in their college thesis" of the 1970s in terms of how big a scandal it was.

The halftime show always sucks shit. It’s not MEANT to be good. But conservatives always tell on themselves by only noticing it when Black performers get the spotlight. Nothing was more predictable than Every Account You Would Expect crying about it particularly loudly this year.

I'm sorry, but "they took over the whole federal payments system, fired the career staff, and won't let anybody see what they're doing" is not a situation in which you wait for more information. It's a situation in which you assume the worst. There's no explanation for it other than rampant crimes.

Dow Jones? Uhh, yeah, more like Down Jones.

I wonder who had the longest taint in human history. Must have been a majestic specimen.

25 Democrats in the Senate voted for a Trump nominee, after the Trump administration illegally paused all federal grants.

This guy gets it.

Sorry, no, we're not doing the "thinktank guys and journos blame the little people for the Democrats' failure to push back against fascism at all" this time. 2017 was eight years ago. This time you're going to have solidarity with the people.

I’m not dismissive of Musk doing a Nazi salute, but something that I think maybe matters more is that most Republicans probably don’t actually care about it at all. Like, even if he straight up admitted it, I doubt it would move the needle much. I think that’s where we are now.

The Senate confirmed Marco Rubio as Secretary of State by a vote of 99-0. Democrats offer an endless supply of goodwill to Republicans that will never be reciprocated.
