I'm going to hop in my car tomorrow and go to Walmart, Target, McDonalds, etc., not to shop, but hopefully to photograph their empty parking lots and interiors!

Why do so many people, when using their smart phone to take a photo, hold the phone vertically when the subject is obviously horizontal. Same with videos. I don't know of any video camera that shoots vertically. I know there are exceptions, but really!
