I am a 2nd amendment progressive who believes that our constitution should apply to all of America's individuals. Not to corporations, not to religions, not to special interest groups, and mostly, not to AUTHORITARIAN FACISTS!

The information provided by the FBI about Hegeseth needs to be public. Not just privately disseminated by two senate leaders.

What the heck happened to Cenk and Anna? I think their turn about started when Cenk made his bid for a presidential run. It wasn't because Biden was bad, if was because Cenk is absolutely afraid of Trump. I hope he rots in Trump's fromunda cheese.

The inside ugliness is manifesting on the outside. It appears to be an unavoidable consequence of top tier magadoons

Merrick is a feckless Mouse. No doubt. I blame Dems for not putting enough pressure on him to move forward sooner. If the Dems would have gotten out of corporate purses, we'd have seen results. But they won't. They have allowed billionaires and corporations to dictate the law. So I blame Dems.

I'm glad your working on alternative energy plans for the country. Please focus on protecting the poor.

I'm with you for aggressively yet peacefully. I'm afraid, though, that we will peacefully watch the Trump ruin our contry, without ever doing anything to combat the violent means he is going to use.

The bald eagle has been the national symbol since 1782. It wasn't going anywhere. Why aren't Democrats legislating for safeguards to protect our rights and the law from the incoming Trump regime? They're resting genuflect at the alter.

You could give him another one-quarter: puppet for a total of 5/4, just like a door jamb.

He won't get smacked. He will hurt people that were defending the constitution.

Biden need to pardon people, not for their crimes. But to keep from being persecuted for merely being of a different opinion.

Imagine that. Under Trump, there was widespread fraud. Under Biden, elections went smoothly and fairly. Now Trump wants to change that. How retarded.

No, they aren't. In fact, they know our lives will get worse by sowing the seeds of discontent. And they are giddy about it.

Jared Moskowitz Is showing his true colors also. Democracy requires bi-partisan discourse. Not capitulation to an agenda that will ultimately seek to remove any individual rights from everyone except the wealthy.

Excuse me sir, Do you think you might be able to put your own penis up your ass. No need to answer sir, just try it. It's for the good of the people. Ta-ta.

No enthusiasm? Does that suggest that his appointment would be supported at all? I am of the belief that Garland is responsible for allowing Trump to not be held accountable. He sat on his feckless ass and allowed him to gain traction. He would be a complete suckup for the the Heritage foundation.
comment in response to post
Yes. And the Heritage Foundation has been working on their presidential plans since 1973. Project 2025 is very real, and the molding of the Supreme Court is very well planned.

Do you think he ate some of that bear cub?
comment in response to post
Sadly, he is our president. If we take the stance of "he isn't my president," we lose much of the traction we might have in reigning in this fascist moron through our saner, elected representatives.

It's so seriously disappointing. Our scotus was a bastion of justice and individual freedoms. Now, they're just one of the higher level of the US pyramid scheme. Democrats have been complicit.

Do you think Merrick Garland bears the burden of being a feckless sponge for being concerned about the appearance of political weaponization? How's it fricking look now, Merrick?
comment in response to post
Smith is asking the court to dismiss without prejudice. This means he wants to be able to continue the prosecution after Trump's 2nd term. There are laws in place that both prevent both imprisonment and prosecution of a sitting president. It's wrong. Merrick Garland has done his best to ruin the US
comment in response to post
Okay. Let's steal them then!
comment in response to post
I'm of the opinion that Garland may be the SINGLE MOST DAMAGING PERSON to the US in our history. We wouldn't be facing nearly as bleak a future had he actually cared for the rule of law.

Just bought a new(ish) car for that very reason.

We've got to quit believing his followers have been "hoodwinked". They bought this with eyes wide open.

What is sad is that Mace's recent comments appeal to a very large part of our population. This is how maga "Christians" really feel about loving your neighbor.

Gaetz ruined his own reputation. So did Hegseth. What kind of chicken shit people aren't willing to make it public. Do it because it's right. Not because it might not work out well. The truth will set us free. Otherwise, we're just fodder for the Maga crew.

George, that's a bit too far. Fake boobs are good. It's just the mushy brain above them that needs the banning.

Unless, like in the case of the new representative from Delaware, a person is a self identifying trans woman or man, Nancy Mace is unable to articulate how bathroom demographics will be controlled.
