Finally finished my #valangel #HazbinHotel #fanart For clarity I did indeed use a royalty free clipart for the spiderweb, the spiderweb was a late idea and applying it after lineart proved impossible. #HazbinHotelFanart #art #HazbinHotelValentino #HazbinHotelAngelDust

I dunno, almost done with a drawing thing. Been in and out of a stupor all month but I am sure the void appreciates the update during a stint into sobriety.

Messed up the coloring but here is my last drawing of 2024. #helluvaboss #helluvabossfanart #art #traditionalart #fanart Going to a gay club rn so everyone have fun

Was at a retro gaming convention today. Played Duck Hunt on a karaoke machine. 10/10 would shaky cam again.

I drew #Mammon based on an offhanded comment made by a friend after I showed her the show. This has lived rent free in my head for months now. I am sorry you had to see this it was funnier in my head. #Helluvaboss #art #fanart #traditionalart

Okay I know I am constantly horny for men and yadda yadda but this here is different. Gerojim is husband material, I would put on a ring on that in an instant and I love him dearly and I want to hug him and make him feel loved.

Finished my piece of #Mouthwashing #fanart Funnily enough I hate this but I'm posting and tagging it anyway against my better judgement. The depression can be seen radiating off this extra poor piece of work but whatevs. #art #traditionalart

Okay but like, Satan though. I'm so down bad lol.

Gonna sound corny but I feel fuggin fantastic today so to my fellow Americans regardless of what you got going on or who you are I hope you have a good holiday and hopefully don't work, thankful I don't.

So a #Steam sale is happening and I like games. I don't talk about games that much anymore but I want to shill an indie game I played this year I enjoyed. Manafinder. I like it when I can look back and go "That was a neat experience" with games. Yes I only shill for free.

BPD is a bitch, don't like complaining but it is fine, sssshhhhhhh I never said anything.

A part of me likes posting to no people since it helps my self esteem not having the ability for others to be critical of me. I post on here like I have people that do for the reason of reasonable accountability. Fake deadlines and behavior guidelines to keep on the gay and narrow.

Ever since I finished that comic I've been struggling to draw. This page is more of a blog now lol. I have a neat idea though so I should do it.

I can't believe some artists are still apologizing for their art "looking bad" My sweetie pie, my honeycake. That's such a nothing burger to apologize over, be proud of what you made with your own hands 🗿 Life's already hard enough, don't make it worse for yourself

Finally my week long project is done. Teaching myself how to write comics which means I gotta just write them. So here is my #webcomic I am cooking and also will work on whenever I feel like it. CW: SA, implied drug use #comic #art

Holy fuck finally finished the art on my small comic. I am free (almost)

Gonna go out on a limb and ask when does Paper Mario The Origami King get bad? I beat the first stationary boss and have been having a great time so far. A little too much yapping for my taste and over tutorialization too but that is nearly every Nintendo game. Mario adults smh

After a week of work my 2 page comic is almost complete. Then I can upload it and feel happy and do smaller art projects for a wee bit lol.

Making a comic is hard. Halfway there with this though so I am excited

It's shockingly fun having a small project in the works and the desire to share some sort of artistic vision with the world. I just having millions of concerns or worries like "What if nobody likes it?" and dumb shit like that. Anyway, hoping to have something to show at the end of the month.

One more thought on "bad" art, at the risk of sounding pretentious: The point of art is to create and express something. Technical skills (anatomy, perspective, etc) are good, but only insofar as they serve that goal. What gives art its value is the impression it makes, not the artist's skill.

The more I draw him the more he strays from my initial vision. Character design is hard and I don't want my style to be diet anime. #art #OC #WIP

I’ve almost finished Dorohedoro. It’s fascinating. Q Hayashida is a genius, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Very early #OC sketches for a potential project and I'm going to trust the process and think they'll get better thr more I tweak them. Also teeny sketches in a teeny book. #Art #WIP

OKAY so i hope I didn’t disappoint my fellow bug enjoyers. Here is a sketch of a Death's-head hawkmoth for my art piece! What do you guys think? 。゚(゚´Д`゚)゚。 #art #bug

Legit pick one and enjoy them. My fav series fr fr

Thinking about practicing paneling and backgrounds more. Debating just doing one page "comedy" comics to learn these things. Which means I need to design a new character to fit this. Making actually good designs is hard but I think I can do well in this department

Here is a sort of key reference piece for myself for my #OC Leif. He indeed likes 2000s romance anime and listens to sad girl music. #Art #traditionalart

Just a couple of photos from when I had to wait outside for a couple hours today. Not even a bad experience since I got to make a bee friend and see some cool minerals.

i love using references... I use posemaniacs a lot as i can usually find a pose pretty close to my vision, and it always seems to keep my art "centered." like the structure is far more solid, and I am less likely to be dissatisfied with the results because the foundation is strong...

Normal well adjusted artist: I've been cooking this idea for a story in my head for awhile, I'm really passionate about it and I think you'll love it Me: Eat a stale 1 year old THC gummy to and have delirious fever dreams all night and turn them into a comic I want to write.

One thing about drawing that I have to remember is that your art will always look it's best when it's done. The preliminary lineart is when it's at its second best. Everything in between is when it looks awful and you hate yourself.
