HBD Final Fantasy VIII! 26 yrs ago I eagerly picked up my copy from GameStop, half-expecting a sequel to FF7 (my first RPG so I didn't know what to expect), and got something else entirely. Still my favorite FF, and criminally underrated (and with one of the best final boss themes in the series!).
