Is it bad I could tell it was Speed Demon and Tarantula in ep 3 of FNSM within the first thirty seconds of screen time? That’s where the information about meal planning should have been in my brain.

It’s interesting how offputting the order of DCU projects is to me. Creature Commandos has been alright so far for me, but it does feel like an improper start for a clean slate. Narratively and tonally being a sequel to TSS and Peacemaker, which makes the story feel tethered to murkiness.

One thing that I think Marvel did that backfired was making edits to trailers to avoid spoiling reveals while still using the cool shots. Now every trailer they release has the potential to be “unraveled”. Is that a shot that had an avenger edited out, or is it a cool group shot?

I deleted my X account. Now it’s my Ex account.

I really dislike how many games/apps/social media use daily streaks, because there’s absolutely three or four things minimum I interact with daily, that I do not enjoy anymore, just because I don’t want to break that streak.

The question is: will recent events be enough to make me post consistently on here? Or will my brain forget this app exists again? Where am I?

My review of The Marvels, if you like this review, I make a bunch more on Letterboxd at Floppythumb. 1/2

Peter Parker: Pro Skater!

Starting episode three of Burrows End, what a coming of age TAIL. @aabria.bsky.social

I’ve played but not finished far cry’s 3, primal, 5, and now 6. Far cry 6 is stunning, and is such fun to run around and shoot things in. The story is compelling, the only downside is today is when Spider-Man 2 comes out, so I guess this will go on the shelf for a bit.

It’s not often a joke lands when reading comics, as timing is entirely up to your reading speed. But I’m reading JLI for the first time, and I’m reminded it’s possible. The other two are from Bendis’s Superman and a Dark nights: Death metal spin off, both I’ve found enjoyable.

Is this one of those apps I’ll use once, realize I don’t have much to say, and then watch as it sends me notifications every once in a while asking if I’d like to follow an account I don’t know? If so, sign me up!
