This statement about the transphobic Supreme Court ruling by the UK's Crab Museum (yes a museum about crabs) is better than 99% of the statements I've seen on the topic www.crabmuseum.org/visit 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀

The Prosecco Stormfront moniker has always been the best description of the UK TERF movement, both on Mumsnet and off of it.

Interesting - one that bears a bit more thinking about

I've not shared this for a while, and certainly not over here, so: www.honeybuns.co.uk do both smaller commercial and personal orders of gf and vegan (and both, but not for everything thank goodness. GIVE ME BUTTER) traybake cakes with good freezer instructions (they all freeze well) #smallBizShare

Stand up for trans rights 🏳️‍⚧️ Join me and @GoodLawProject and help us fight the rollback of trans rights in the UK.https://goodlawproject.org/s/851fc4

Rest in Peace Pope Francis.

Parkrun isn’t competitive! Parkrun involves no changing rooms! Anyone can do parkrun! What the actual fuck are these people on about

There isn't a story on the BBC News site about today's trans rights rally at Parliament Square where it's estimated 20k attended. But they did have a story last week about the Let Women Speak transphobe rally in Bristol where 100 people attended.

Megathread of pro-trans petitions on Parliament’s petition website. If Labour suddenly gets hit with debates for a bunch of pro-trans petitions, maybe they’ll realise this issue isn’t going away and they’ve fucked up. I’ll add more as I find them. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...

just a periodic reminder that blocking people you haven't interacted with yet, but who are acting up in someone else's mentions or posting unhinged freak takes with sincerity, is both fun and cool

Everyone is absolved if they need to be for liking Harry Potter as children back when Rowling seemed normal, but this is the moment in the zombie movie where you’re weeping and holding an axe and everyone is yelling “you need to do it, that’s not the Joanne you knew, Joanne is gone”

Really keen to sell this ticket to My Chemical Romance in Chicago in August, as I have an X sex marker on my passport and just don't feel comfortable going to the states to attend. Make me an offer, some money is better than no money at this point. www.stubhub.com/my-chemical-...

If you are still supporting anything Harry Potter (or.anything else JK Rowling) fuck right off. Your choices are hurting people and we are long since past KNOWING that.

All this money & energy spent to make life more miserable for trans people could've been used to fight against domestic violence, wage disparity, sexual harassment, harassment of people accessing abortion services, proper childcare provision; you know, to make the world a better place instead.

Look at this bunch of despicable, bullying, fanny-obsessed freaks. History will (rightfully) not be kind to them. Too wilfully stupid to understand science or the reality of the perpetrators of sexual assault.

I am so, so sorry. The supreme court are wrong, and went about their bigotry in a deliberately blinded way. I will continue writing to my MP and MSPs to make it clear that F(s)WS do not speak for me, nor for fucking humanity. #TransWomenAreWomen #TransRightsAreHumanRights #NotInMyName

Whichever way this goes British transphobes will claim victory in the headlines so remember to stay cool, check to see what the court actually says, & remember that a crucial part of the issue here is Gender Recognition Certificates, which are very specific to the British legal system

The Supreme Court is due to rule tomorrow on the Equality Act. But it didn’t hear from a single trans person. It’s vital that people are in the room when their rights and freedoms are on the line. www.thenational.scot/news/2508432...

Anecdata-ly there seemed to be a much lower uptake through work reimbursement programmes and friends who would usually just pay for it, too, so it's not just the deeply inconvenient locations for the NHS vaccine clinics this last season (for people who used to just have to get to their gps).

Thread. Colour of the sky vibes.
