I am planning on teaching my friend how to play magic, and I told him. I’m not teaching him with commander at all. It’s genuinely the hardest format to teach someone how to play. I think learning requires more consistent feedback loops and the inherent variance to commander makes that too difficult

They break the system then tell you the system was always broken and provide a worse more abusable replacement. It’s wild how selfish the Republican Party is, and its constituents just roll with this. What is also bad is the complacency of the Democratic Party in all this.

At work I got to use the Green Lanterns and philosophy/allegory of the ring wars to discuss how leadership and ones view of how to lead others can vary WILDLY. I have to say it stuck especially well when I talked about yellow lanterns and how effective their methods are.

The Hunted sealed event last night was dope! Played Arakni cause I pulled tons of assassin cards, and that hero is so sick! I am excited to infuse my combo Crouching Tiger Ira deck with some of these new ninja cards, maybe I’ll slow her down into some midrange…who knows! #fabtcg

I am likely not the only one to have said this, but we need to create an umbrella “Equine” creature type in MTG to capture Pegasus, Horse and Unicorn. Like how they did for Naga to Snake. It would really open the gates for pony decks to run/fly free in the aggro/midrange fields and skies.
