Also, I really need to get a hold of The Substance, haven't had a chance yet, unfortunately, but my interest is certainly piqued!

The World: Trump and all the right-wingers around the world are the biggest problem right now. Me: yes, fully agree but also, HOW IN THE HELL IS DUNE PART TWO BEING SNUBBED SO BADLY AT THE OSCARS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!

Nosferatu, I'm happy to say, is absolutely incredible. Robert Eggers is a phenomenal director. The atmosphere and the tension he creates are wonderful and there are not just a few beautiful shots in this film. Support this film if you can!

New review out, yesterday, by the by, with all my thoughts on Red One. youtu.be/-HcoG5-_YH4?...

I have the blu ray at home but haven't watched the film yet. I really need to get on that and review it for the channel!

Getting my nephew, who's a real Sonic fan, a cool extra present for Christmas. What a cool popcorn bucket! Really excited for the film!

Red One was a lot better than I expected but had so much wasted potential. Full review coming Saturday on YouTube.

I'm so torn. On the one hand I don't want to see anything of the film before it releases, on the other hand is it realistic to avoid stuff from the trailer(s) until then and beat my own curiosity?

I really like Aaron Taylor-Johnson and hoped for his sake that Kraven would be good. Sony gonna Sony, I guess. Please give the MCU all the rights (but keep the spiderverse films going).

MIKE FLANAGAN, that's a huge yes for me!

Watched Secret Level yesterday. That Space Marine episode was pure bliss. The concept of that box is so Warhammer 40k, love it. Going to be even funnier on a rewatch. Quite a few other good episodes, but because I'm biased that one stood out. Overall superb animation, but too action focussed.

To date still one of the craziest endings I've ever seen in that first episode of series 1

Can't deny I'm definitely interested in a good Indiana Jones game, child me would be so jealous

I really dislike starting to see news and reviews about Nosferatu coming in because I have to wait until Christmas for it to release in Vienna! No joke, it's releasing on 25th December, so it's basically going to be my Christmas film for this year.

Watched The Whale. Still undecided and saw there is much discussion around this film, but it's without a doubt very interesting. I don't think it was worth the Oscar win for Brendan Fraser (very subjective though, ofc) but a great performance and I'm just happy he's so back in the conversation.

I'm really intrigued by all I'm seeing about DC's "Absolute" comics but my reading list id already long. Still finishing 3 Body Problem series, then books 5 and 6 in the Dune series and my uncle gifted me the whole foundation series. Also, I need to restart Jojo's Cannonball Run. Whelp

Maybe I should do some "of course there Christmas films" reviews this year. Two obvious ones I can think of are Batman Returns and, of course, Die Hard. Any other recommendations?

Godzilla in Fortnite? Holding a gun? My guy, he has a built-in gun and it's definitely more effective

My gaming gang is not available tonight, so instead of slaughtering in the name of the emperor I'll be hunting machines with Aloy. Really enjoying my first playthrough of Horizon Zero Dawn

Impressive how much they were able to extrapolate storywise for Arcane from a Moba game

Thinking about Christmas films to watch and review for the channel. Is Hot Frosty really going to be one of them? Looking for recommendations!

Finished Arcane! Overall it's a really good show but my opinion on Vi and Jinx does not change. They don't work for me and I find it hard to get attached much to them, although the first half of series 2 helped me feel sympathetic for Jinx way more. Will have to give this more thought.

I feel so sad to live in a country where special popcorn buckets are a real rarity

Yep.

Rewatched the first series of Arcane and while it's much better than I remember (I mean stories/characters), I still just don't care that much about Vi and Powder which is curious, because they ARE interesting characters. They just don't click with me in series 1. On to series 2.

My thoughts on Gladiator II www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxpE...

Watched the second part of Arcane's season 2 yesterday. Starting to grow on me, definitely feel more invested in the characters compared to the first episodes. Once it's finished I might have to do a complete rewatch, maybe a second go around will improve my opinion on the first season as well!

I just recently watched Kiki's Delivery Service with the family and might have some thoughts on it hint, hint (coming soon)

Looking towards a future when there's a Warhammer 40k cineverse that we can all go nuts over. One can dream - would have to be R rated though, that's for sure

Feels like a great time to be a film/TV fan. Looking forward to Nosferatu and Heretic (not out in Austria yet!) but also Penguin, once I can grab the blu ray box (max availble only through sky here, no thanks)

I would be extremely partial to a Dogma sequel. It's been ages since I've seen it but I really enjoyed it a lot back in the day. Even made me question religion's role in society

I understand the popularity of #arcane, but the characters just aren't working for me. It's worth it for the extraordinary animation and action shots, quite stunning

Desperately trying to avoid spoilers for heretic because it isn't released in Austria until after New Year 😩
