That's a good idea, remake the G-trace but with LexA. I don't know if there is a suitable LexA driver for our purposes. I'll look that up in BDSC.

Wow! I might try that. We use a heat plate but someone has to stir it a few times. This thread is like the one on twitter about cheap drosophila hacks. I remember the fluorescent scope with a uv light and the pancake tool for pouring fly food.

With Microscopy Nodes, you can play with large volumes (this ExM dataset from Granita Lokaj is 49 GB total) and integrate this with all the cool tools in Blender, such as this #geonodes model of the centriole, made by @banterlegroup.bsky.social !
