Been walking around for weeks now saying out loud "Mustard on the beat, ho" to no one in particular or for any real reason. I might have a problem but I can't fix it if I do because Mustard's on the beat. Ho.

It's fine to like things and to have favorites but you folks have to stop lionizing corporations. Any moral good they commit to is done insofar that it increases shareholder value. As soon as that moral good ceases to be a quality business decision, it will "mysteriously" disappear.

They don't want you to know your rights because if you do, you might excercise them rights, and that's not relevant to their interests.

Anybody else drink coffee just because they enjoy the taste of it? I'm not sure what caffeine even does; I just like the taste of the bean juice. I've been told caffeine having no effect is a sign of ADHD but I ain't tryna figure that out. I already have enough happening, like this Starbucks.

I like when new things are described as "a breath of fresh air". Yeah, so? You don't have fresh air? Where do you fucking live? Do I need to send a rescue party?

BlueSky question: If I have two accounts, and I want to mute people in one but not the other, does that work? Or is account switching only applicable to follows and the like? I don't want to accidentally mute people under the wrong account.

Today has been a shitshow. I real showing of shit, you might say.

I just opened my browser and searched for "Teams Outage" but accidentally typed "Teams Outrage" and, honestly, same thing.

As long as we're renaming things at the federal level, let's start calling half the country the Louisiana Purchase again.

I don't often get an iced drink at Starbucks but when I do I have to pick it up to give it a shake or two before I drink it. You know, so my ears can validate there's ice in there. Eyes are untrustworthy.

"Do you just want the answers, or do you want to learn?" Actually, just the answers would be pretty good right about now.

I have never seen a John Wick movie. Worth watching for someone who doesn't generally watch action movies, or are they for people who already like the kind of thing they are?

Basically.

Being in your 40s is weird because re: the Youths vs. The Olds, you have one foot in each place and you're never sure which one you should stand on.

What is with these low-key horror movie commercials during the Super Bowl?

I feel about Steely Dan the same way The Dude in the Big Lebowski felt about The Eagles. Just kinda muh. Like finding something slimy when you don't expect to.

All these folks mentioning great 90s bands and I've yet to see Hum make an appearance on any lists. Deplorable. I'll just be over here passing judgment and spinnin' 'Electra 2000'.

Back in 1998, I nominated "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)" by Green Day for HS senior class song. New at the time and thematically appropriate. But my graduating class picked "American Pie" by Don McLean, a song about American decline that came out in 1971. I haven't had faith in humanity since.
