the switch 2 direct got me hype, but a couple of days thinking has cooled me on it a lot. Thank fuck I didn't have enough money floating around for a pre-order deposit. Ya almost got me Nintendo, almost

So, switch 2. What we talking here, like, 10 minutes of battery life or what?

Please, American corporates, stop with the shit April fools posts. They are so dumb and unfunny. You eggs can't even make snl funny and that's supposed to be the best you can do, your crap April fools joke ads are just painful.

why is my feed suddenly full of ai art chuds? if you didn't draw/paint/sculpt it yourself get the fuck out of my face you lazy fucks. Learn a fucking skill.

So I manage a makerspace that has pretty strict H&S rules (as they all should) and this guy, this fucking GUY, completely new to the space, rocks in and just starts setting up his shit and grabbing power tools off the wall, and then gets pissy when I kick his ass out. Whataprick

About to go teach a bunch of ID students on how to draw good, and I think I'll start off by drilling into their heads that they should just draw bad and keep drawing bad. If they pay attention they'll eventually draw good, but they gotta use up the bad in their pencils first.

Just came out of the cinema after watching this, and fucking hell. TAKE NOTES DISNEY, THIS IS HOW YOU COULD MAKE AN ANIMATED ANIMAL FILM! NOT THAT LIONKINGJUNGLEBOOKMUFASAFUCKINGTRASH YOU'VE BEEN SHITTING OUT. Ahem... Flow is lovely. Its funny. Its scary. Its magical. Its so fucking good.

visited an open home viewing of an apartment in an active construction site today. Kinda hard to gauge what the place is like when there aren't even handrails on the stairs and the entire building is covered in scaffolding

It's been a good solid 20+ years since I ever thought about or looked at anything LEXX. I am hesitant to go back to it in case it isn't what I remember, but the Bizarre Podcast: Space Puppets has got me craving weird as fuck scifi

so started Stalker 2, immediately felt like I was back in the same world as the previous stalkers, for good and bad. I look forward to exploring the zone, especially as the game becomes more and more stable and continues to improve.

Started veilguard, and was immediately put off by the voice acting and character designs, then by the combat. I'm happy for those enjoying it, but it ain't for me. Same issues with Lego Horizon. They both immediately felt "bad" in a way I don't think I am capable of articulating

Junior Taskmaster is exactly what it needs to be. The change they made to make it more suitable for kids contestants seem spot on, and Rose and Mike make for a great pair to host it. If I was ever a child I'm sure I would've loved to go on it.

a month into a new job and I finally feel settled enough financially I can start to splurge a little, first of which is signing up to @chipcheezum.bsky.social and @mynameisgrant.bsky.social patreon so I can start listening to Space Puppets. After Dogs Must Die its a no brainer tbh.

the longer i stay on hold to make an appointment at winz, the more the mental health support ads become relevant
