A movie that takes place where you're from LEMORA: A CHILD'S TAKE OF THE SUPERNATURAL (1973) was filmed in & around Pomona, CA. The Phillips Mansion was used for the ext of the house. I recognized the house after watching it back in the early 2000s. We drove around & found it! You should watch it

For anyone who grew up in LA in the 80s & listed to KROQ, Jed the Fish has died. I used to send faxes back & forth with him in the early 90s. I worked as a secretary. It wasn't busy so in the afternoons I would fax in a request. He would fax back with a silly drawing out whatever. RIP.

On the 2nd bus home tonight. It's not as fuck outside. It's going to be worse when it actually hits summer. Kiddo went with his friend to a show at Hole in the Wall this afternoon. He's always wanted to go to see a show at that club. Eric's played there with a couple of different bands.

At HEB for a 4 hour shift I picked up from someone . Just got a voice mail from my MIL. She said, she and Eric's dad are being moved into an assistive living facility. She was crying as I can hear people moving their stuff out of their apartment. It's for the best but she's not happy about it.

Looks like we're likely not going to be able to move this year. I hate that the kiddo is basically scared in his own home but without a car, I can't work more hours at the 2nd job. Am approved to drive Lyft, too, but can't without a car. Renting from them is $$. I hate being poor.
