Day 3 of what I call a "blood sugar flare". I have reactive hypoglycemia which is where the body produces too much insulin in response to foods. My fingers are bruised from testing. Have constant headaches, brain fog, and dizziness. I can't keep my numbers up. I'm tired. :( Forgive my complaining.

It's difficult to understand the psalms of lament & imprecation, the yearning for justice if you have not lived outside of societal favor, privilege, and power. The cries of the victims on the margins are just abstractions. For those suffering injustice, the psalms are the cries of the heart.

Please, God, guard my heart from hatred masquerading as righteous anger. Help me to know how to react like You do to injustice -- with anger that does not become contempt, bitterness, vindictiveness, or enmity. Because my human anger does not produce the justice that You desire.
