At least I get to hear Sam say the name "Chisholm" three times in 10 seconds. He made extra sure to pronounce a distinct "CH" the third time. LOL

Jacob Trouba is a great person. I wish he became a little better of a player than when he signed. At the age he was, it was a good bet. He's still a great person. Unfortunate, though.

10 - 16 - 13 20 - 8 - 93 50 - 22 - 65 78 - 29 - 73 79 - 17 24 - 4 44 - 6 Vaaks can sit. Pars can sub for Brodz. Fox comes back and 6-4 is 3rd pair and CDH sits too. Kaliyev plays if 65 or 78 struggles. Edstrom comes back and Kaliyev isn't needed while one of 65, 78, or 73 sits too. Possible.

Jones, Othmann, and Berard looked really good today. I was saying during the 2nd intermission that Berard was doing a lot with such little ice time. I'm pumped that he was rewarded. Quick was unreal. Parssinen was underwhelming while Brodz had another solid game.

Addition by subtraction (I love Lindy as a person, but not at 20:00+ per game). Vesey's a great dude & could be the 12/13 F on almost any team, but so is Brodz who can play C. Parssinen could be the exact 3C we need since 8, 16, & 93 aren't gonna fall out of the top 6. There's a lot to like here.

Jonny B!! This is why you play AAAA guys on the 3rd instead of the 4th. Provide an actual scoring threat. Rempe screened nicely, but if Smith were on that line instead, they'd be all the more dangerous.

Didn't quite deserve the win, but here we are. Two points out of a WC spot and Boston looking to fold. I hate to call it an "effort issue," but it sure looks like one. We need to win convincingly against a good opponent in the next week.
