Welp, one game down and there were glimpses of hope. Overall, we looked like a team that hadn't played together much AND played a few nights ago. I was happy to see subs. Also, does anyone know who became Captain after Thommy was subbed off? I never saw anyone with the Captain's band.

Salloi's mustache reminds me of a character from a movie who has to go undercover. However, the only thing he changes about his appearance is a fake mustache. Then he pretends to be Daniel's twin brother, Baniel (something that rhymes). I've def put wayyy too much thought into this situation.

Which team has the better hair game? Austin narrowly wins the hair game for me. Fav hairstyles on their team... Pereira (8), Wolff (33), Obrian (7), and Diego Rubio. I haven't seen Rubio but historically he has good hair. I can't decide what's worse... Ilie's hair or Salloi's mustache. Thoughts?

First half thought: - Both teams are struggling. Austin has had more opportunities, but they've had some miscues. SKC has struggled at times with passing. Stat: - Austin had the ball 56% of the time compared to SKC who had the ball 44%. Random: Can someone explain the Austin tifo to me? Thanks!

Final Thoughts: - It's interesting Messi played the whole game. - Jacob Bartlett looks freezing - I didn't hate Thommy as the Captain. - Defense overall played better than anticipated - I liked what I saw from the new players - I'm a little more excited for the season after this game.
