tbh when you have as much money and resources as he does, it is so much easier to consume ethically 😭 he’s not in a position where a lululemon ad might need to pay his rent. he could afford to work with up and coming designers. companies that pay their staff a living wage.

Like I get that it’s difficult to ethically consume in society but bare minimum not associating with a brand that directly attacks things you work toward is attainable. It’s just a bone head move.

Nah let him get his lashings. He did dumb fuck shit

Dior was(still is) sooo much worse, but fans overlooked it because it didn’t directly affect them🤷

They need to not especially since Kimi is a child

Fully aware and when their sales tanked they pulled out of that deal. Also he has access to google same as we do he doesn’t get carte blanche on problematic partnerships that are separate from whatever duties he has to Ferrari sponsors

I don’t see it that way. I see it as someone who has placed themselves as an advocate for inclusivity and diversity allowing a brand that isn’t in alignment with that to use his image to clean up there’s. This isn’t the first time either.

Who now

Boycotts work and if we continue to excuse persons from partnering with problematic brands because they say they’ll contribute to something positive then we’re part of the issue. A racist and fat phobic brand with zionist ties isn’t a good partnership

This doesn't move me anymore lol because at this point many are involved with Mission 44, so it's not something no one's ever done before

We do not want Dior. No offense but that recent collection was boring. We want something flavorful

Nah this is part of his usual shtick now "Wearing new up and coming designers and supporting smaller brands" while wearing the same 5 big names all year
comment in response to post
Saying this like he wasn't wearing Aladdin's carpet in the middle of summer and like he doesn't stay in oversized black outfits. "You want to look good when you go somewhere to work out" is KILLING mee 😭

If an athlete who's tried everything under the sun in terms of sportswear didn't even know the brand he just became an ambassador of was doing men's lines then how do you expect me to have faith in this brand lol It wasn't even on YOUR radar until they made you an offer
comment in response to post
There isn't a signature line but there is a little section dedicated to his "essentials" which has me cackling because who's paying these prices for these clothes
comment in response to post
Nah that millionaire has made certain claims and i want verification.

At which point do we start asking Lewis directly what he’s about, because these collars with these brands bring into question what he has said he stands for. Like is any research being done before he adds his name to brands🫠

idk about MK, but the Tommy rumour has long been debunked. What I'm trying to say is there's always a lesser evil, and when your entire image is about being an advocate for inclusion and whatnot.. it's disappointing. I don't have these kind of expectations for his coworkers bc they stand for nothing

Except he has already, with Dior? They run sweatshops. Immigrants had to work in inhumane and dangerous conditions and sleep in the shop. And you can just google lululemon racism. It goes waaay back. It's tons of sources exposing them over the years. The 'rebrand' means nothing to me

Zhou Guanyu is a Lululemon ambassador too. Guess who manages both him and Lewis? Marc Hynes. But this is on Lewis for allowing his name and brand to be used like this after incessantly yapping about inclusion and being an advocate and whatnot
comment in response to post
constantly asking these days who is advising him + where is his own research and decision making going …
comment in response to post
First Dior, now Lulumelon. He and his team sure know how to pick fashion brands to be an ambassador for 😭
comment in response to post
Lululemon is a brand with a history of racism and fatphobia. Just what we needed, disappointment wrapped in overpriced basics. I really really hope this isn't what it looks like
