For her birthday Clem wanted to go on a trip with just me and see the home I grew-up in ✅, school I went to✅, swim✅& go to a football field (tomorrow). We also went on a boat tour today & saw dolphins & manatees. ❤️

I just looked up 3 different skateboard day camps (9-3p) for the girls and the cheapest for 1 week was $900. That would be $1800 for both girls for 1 week. If I extended til 5p $2,000+. Insane.

I gave the girls big Valentine’s gift bags with new, cute pajamas, socks, a necklace, umbrella, zipper pouch, hair things, etc. All Clementine said was “Where’s chocolate?” Note to self, Valentine’s Day = chocolate.

Kid #1’s ballet schedule changed so she’s free afterschool on my teaching day. She ❤️ nothing more than coming to my class & I’m enjoying it while it lasts. I think the main reason is the cafeteria where she can do things like get this GIANT cup of syrup for 1 waffle. I gasped.

If you would have told me 2 months ago that Kid #1 was going to be a cheerleader I would have laughed in your face. She has a million wonderful traits, but cheer isn’t one. So to lead cheers, to even participate in cheer- blows my mind. It’s such a privilege to watch a kid grow.
