What we saw today was two jumped up thugs and their bootlicking sychophants laughing at the US Constitution, the supreme court, and the idea that anyone can stop them from doing anything they want www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

NYPD perfectly illustrates in a single day that they only exist to protect the oligarchy.

In his first big flex of power on Capitol Hill, Elon Musk shitposted a bunch of misinformation to kill a bipartisan spending bill that would have averted a government shutdown, threatened reps supporting it, and demanded Congress stop working until Trump is in office. Awesome stuff

me writing a new constitutional amendment that is unequivocal: "no one in government (including congress!!!) shall receive money from anywhere but their salary or buy/sell stocks while on office." SCOTUS 5 months later: "well by 'money' he meant monopoly money and by 'stocks' he meant, like, broth"

One thing that I don't get about conservatives is why they aren't apoplectic with rage about both police and military fleecing US citizens out of unspeakable sums of money. How are you more angry about getting taxed for public schools than you are about the money toilet that is the US military

I'm not balding it's just a reverse fade

the main lesson in The Wire seems to be if you want to successfully do crime you just need to be police or a senator

In Hungary, a key Orbán tactic in dismantling their democracy was that his allies bought media outlets that were critical of the regime and turned them into loyal cheerleaders for the regime.
