I'm all for smaller government and more efficiency. But I have zero faith in Trump/Musk to accomplish that overarching goal in a humane way. Suddenly trying to feed entire $BB programs into a wood chipper is just lazy leadership. A 4-year gradual decrease lets orgs adjust, though still harsh.
