Reckless and bad drivers, DUIs, etc should have their license revoked. Fines are only a punishment to the poor. "But how will I get to work?!" Should have thought about that before endangering others. Maybe without a license you could start advocating for better alternatives like buses and bikes.

I went to test out the goggles screen out in bright daylight and it's incredible. Do not regret getting these much nicer, high-end goggles. I could have flown for the first time for real but there was a bunch of people outside next door and I didn't want to bother them with loud drone motor sounds.

The white knight himself. Configured (as far as I'm aware) and ready to fly... when my goggles get here and I set up them up. Very excite. Only a few more hours of trial and error. (Also, fuck taking off press fit props. I can't feel my middle finger tip still. and ruined some fine tweezers.)

Getting into FPV is really hard mode for hobbies. Steep learning curve. Steep costs to get into and maintain/upgrade. No local shop for parts. No local help or groups. And the amount of knowledge and trial/error you have to learn is enormous. Small things can cost you big money.

No trans person is being "mutilated", and all surgeries are done when they are older than the age of 18 (if they ever get to the surgery part). Circumcisions on newborns however, is in fact non-consentual mutilation of children. Why are we not waiting until they are 18 to make that choice?

Told my dad that I have to keep the $400 in rent for my own appointments and savings (He's still getting more overall than before, but I've been giving him the usual on top of rent subsidy). Not like he can argue about it, and I'm going to use the money for important things. Like drones and stuff.
