Bluesky doesn't offer a Norwegian interface yet, so now using the Danish! Danish and Norwegian are written so similarly, it's pretty easy to understand for a semi-fluent Norwegian-speaker. Get a copy of Twisty Tealz to start learning either of these languages!

Had a fabulous time at UnPub this weekend playtesting a brand new game! It’s a French sentence-building game that is political-themed. Vive la révolution ! Vive la démocratie ! Since we’re on both Mastodon and Bluesky, we’re trying out this app called Openvibe that allows you to crosspost to both of them at once. Seems nice so far! Here’s a snapshot of the Mandarin version of Twisty Tealz coming soon to appease the language gods (shénmíng 神明).

Decided on one final little rule change before publishing: you’ll no longer have to make sure that a teal is not the last thing you play! For a longer game you can always add that rule in, but it tends to increase the length of the game by 25-100%.

Great sign: At least half of visitors to our demo/playtesting table at MAGFest asked if the game was available for purchase! Not quite, but we sold a prototype at the end of the weekend. ☺️ Random MAGFest: Trading pro-democracy zines for Pokémon cards at the trinket trade was super fun.

Just created a Mastodon account. Now it's time to create a new business card for our new name and social accounts! Expecting to use Bluesky more than Mastodon, but joined a Mastodon server with a bunch of bonus features, including 2000-character limit and enhanced photo capacity. So that'll be fun.
