WHAT WE FOUND: We used different statistical methods to assess if apathy (lack of motivation) in people with PD changed over time. The linear mixed effects models showed a significant increase in apathy each year whereas other methods did not find this increase.

Does ESB not cross-check its dates with Glastonbury?

Here at NUPOC, my bluesky-less colleague is hiring a post-doc research scholar. If you are a recent or soon-to-be PhD grad (or know someone who is) and are interested in prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation engineering, check out this opportunity! biomch-l.isbweb.org/forum/biomch...

As a non-engineer working in an engineering lab, I've always been amazed and impressed that people write and run code complex enough to be left for hours/days to run. So I'm _pretty_ smug right now waiting 15 mins for a code to run💅💅💅

Really glad I painted my nails yday, the glitter baby pink really sets off the chain grease 🩷🚴‍♀️

Great exposure to broader veterans research topics and policy at the OVA conference in York last week. The great thing about a multidisciplinary conference is hearing some excellent qualitative research, like that from Prof Lisa Scullion on navigating the benefits system as a veteran

A classic case of *scientist has extremely new and brilliant idea* and someone already did it...😅 You can do this 👇 (see @chrismccrum.bsky.social comment for how to)

Imagine if you could link your university access to EndNote so that it could find and access non-open access PDFs💡🤔 No more finding the paper in EndNote, finding and downloading the file online, giving it an arbitrary name that you pretend has order, and uploading to EndNote 🌈🌞🌱

Lovely 🍂autumnal run (+ swim for Amber🐶) yesterday and discovered some familiar images🏃...I had no idea Muybridge was from where I live!

We're recruiting funded PhD students who are focused on balance control, locomotion, and rehabilitation. Come join our multidisciplinary group of biomechanists, kinesiologists, rehab scientists, engineers, and neuroscientists. petercfino.wixsite.com/nallab
