Church 'politics', where bishops and those in power claiming they were overwhelmed, unsure, scared, that there was nothing they could do, always has me quoting James 4:17 - "Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, commits sin."

A glorious start to the weekend; The Dog, The Rat, The Beach There’s also been tea and cake, wandering the churchyard at Great Yarmouth Minster, and investigating the Fisherman’s Hospital, while The Rat is at the circus with nanny and grandad.

22 years ago yesterday; I lost a friend, one of the best people I knew, because the demons in his own head overwhelmed him. We all have demons, but trans people have to live with them in the real world and it is unforgivable. This song has fucking crushed me 💔

That weird headteacher is at it again. She’s whinging that you can’t find parenting books that say it’s OK to tell your kids what to do. If you’re happy being an authority figure for your kids, why do you need permission from a book?

Found out my headteacher from Secondary school has died. Nearly everything I loved at school was something he directly created/supported/nurtured. I cannot even begin to imagine who I’d be without his influence. It feels weird and unsettling knowing he’s gone 💔
