Beth learns about clinical trials in general and specifics about the SWOG trial from the TV doctors, who even delve into side effects. Beth – and the characters in the ad – relay key info, then Beth “wakes up.” She’s no longer inside the ad but she is thinking about pursuing a clinical trial. 5/8

So how do you promote these trials? Screenwriter and cancer survivor Jonathan Sommers wondered if an original video shared on social media might work. So, he teamed up with scientists from @swog.org and Fred Hutch’s Dr. Vida Henderson to design a study. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39970310/ 2/8
